Taiwanese actress and model Sonia Sui stole the show of the 46th Golden Bell Awards when she hit the red carpet with her dazzling and glamorous dress and curvy look.


The 46th Golden Bell Awards were held October 21, 2011. There were many high-profile celebrities who were present there at Taipei Zhongshan Memorial Hall.


The Prince Who Turns into a Frog and Magicians of Love actress Sonia Sui has already host the awards ceremony three years ago. She was co-cost of Golden Horse Awards 2008.


30-years old model-turned-actress Sonia was nominted as “Best Actress category” at the 46th Golden Bell Awards 2011. Golden Bell Awards are generally known as Taiwan’s equivalent to the Emmy Awards which held in the October or November every year. This year these were held in October.


Another cute actress Tien Hsin carried the trophy of “Best Leading Actress in a TV Series” to her home while Will Pan took the trophy of “Best Actor from a drama series.” There were some emotional moments when Tien Hsin thanked of her fans and colegues while recieving the winning trophy.


There were also some tears seen in the eyes of the “Who’s the One?” actress. “The Fierce Wife” actress Amanda Chu beat Ke Su-Yun, Su Ming-Ming, Janel Tsai and Ma Hui Zhen in the category of “Best Supporting Actress from a drama series.”


CTS’ Lee Wang-Luo and Monga Yao Hui carried the trophy of “Best Supporting Actor from a drama series” at tonight’s awards ceremony which were held at Taipei Zhongshan Memorial Hall.

At the age of 13, Ms. Sui followed her parents to Poland, and completed her Junior high school education in Warsaw. She then moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba where she finished her high school and went to study psychology at University of Winnipeg. Upon completion of the program, Sonia moved back to Taipei and started to pursue a modeling / acting career.
In recent years, Ms. Sui has successfully entered into many entertainment industries other than modeling. She starred in a few TV Serials and Films, including the well received The Prince Who Turns into a Frog and Magicians of Love, as well as earning many endorsement deals.
