John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston may have slammed split rumours after appearing together at a private Super Bowl bash, but pals insist that the
singer is too busy for a serious relationship with the actress.
Mayer’s Super Bowl date with the ‘Friends’ star washed off rumours claiming that the on/off couple has called it quits.
But, pals say Mayer is way too busy for a serious relationship with Jennifer, and instead wants to focus on himself.
“John’s goal is to keep a low profile this year, and Jen is about as far off from low-profile as you can get. He just wants to keep out of the spotlight and finally concentrate on his music,” The New York Daily News quoted a source as telling.
Mayer is currently working on an album tentatively titled “ Battle Studies ,” a follow-up to 2006’s “ Continuum .”
“He’s always in and out of the studio. That’s his focus,” revealed another insider.
On the other hand, Jennifer, whose flick “ He’s Just Not That Into You ” is all set to hit theatres, is sick of her inconsistent relationship with Mayer, said insiders
“He keeps her in limbo. She and John see each other and sleep with each other, but are they getting ready to walk down the aisle? No. Jennifer knows that. But at the same time, no girl wants to spend every night alone. She needs to accept the title of her new movie to be the title of her life,” said the source.
