Natasha Richardson could have lived

Actress Natasha Richardson could have survived her fall while skiing in Canada if only she had heeded an instructor's advice and consulted

    doctors immediately.

Instructor Danush Rudolph was also skiing on Mont Tremblant when she was told that Natasha needed help. Rudoph tried to convince the actress to go to hospital but did not succeed, dailymail.co.uk reports.

A source said: "Natasha had no visible injuries. But any time you take a bad tumble, there is a remote possibility that you can tear a blood vessel in the brain."

Natasha turned away an ambulance and chose to return to her hotel. A second ambulance had to be summoned two hours later but by then Natasha became disoriented and confused and began to vomit.

By the time she got to a hospital, it had been nearly four hours after her fall. Doctors discovered her brain injury and sent her to Montreal but it was too late. Natasha will be buried in a private family ceremony near her Millbrook Dutchess County home in New York. Source URL: http://pokbongkoh.blogspot.com/2009/03/actress-natasha-richardson-could-have.html
