Paris Hilton has reportedly turned down footie star Cristiano Ronaldo’s
romance hopes.
The 28-year-old hotel heiress told the soccer ace in a transatlantic phone call to Madrid “this isn’t going to work“ and disappeared for a sunshine break in Fiji with Doug Reinhardt, 23, an ex-Baltimore Orioles player and actor in the hit MTV series The Hills, reports the Daily Star.
Ronaldo reportedly tried to keep their blossoming romance alive with a string of long-range ‘passes’ over the phone through the summer.
A source close to Ronaldo said: “They kept in touch for a bit but they didn’t actually get to see each other because of their busy schedules.
