Talk about some A-list musical guests! After their concert in London, the Black Eyed Peas threw a Bacardi-sponsored afterparty at indigoO2 – and they were joined on stage by Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. The actor performed a duet with will.i.am called "Some Day," from his upcoming movie Knight and Day, while his wife salsa danced with Fergie. "It was unreal," a source says. "Everyone was going crazy." Later in the evening, the actors got cozy on the dancefloor. "They were all over each other," the source says, "giggling and dancing all night."

Matt Lauer and wife Annette were spotted having a double date at Le Caprice, the restaurant inside New York's Pierre Hotel. The two couples were deep in conversation throughout the night, sharing bites of their entrees and enjoying some wine. According to a source, the Today show host was especially in high spirits.

After sunning themselves on a daybed and swilling poolside mojitos at Las Vegas's Tao Beach's Memorial Day bash, Mark Ballas had a late-night dinner at Lavo with Ashley Roberts – and the cozy couple wasn't alone. The Dancing with the Stars pro's dad, Corky, shared the meal with them. After dinner, Corky showed off some tango moves in the dining room before the three headed over to the nightclub. Across the way, Forest Whitaker was dining with wife Keisha and a producer friend. The trio was greeted at one point during their meal by Stacy Keibler, who came to say hello.

Also in Sin City: Jenna Jameson and hubby Tito Ortiz, who were spotted at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, where they took in the UFC afterparty at Vanity nightclub.

Dion is currently 14 weeks along, and will find out the gender of their child next month. The baby-to-be will join big brother Rene-Charles, who turned 9 in January. Rene-Charles was also conceived by in vitro after six years of trying. Last year, Dion revealed to Oprah Winfrey that she had suffered a miscarriage after another IVF attempt. "We're living the reality of the majority of couples who face these procreation techniques," her husband Angelil told a French-Canadian newspaper in November.The Grammy-winning singer spoke to Us Weekly recently, before learning of her pregnancy. To Jessica Simpson, The Price of Beauty was more than just a reality show -- it's her life's calling!
"I'm not saying I'm changing the world," a teary-eyed Simpson said while accepting an award at the Gracies (which honor women in radio and TV) in Beverly Hills Tuesday.
"But...to be able to sit with my Dad and [create] Price of Beauty," she said of her VH1 show, in which she traveled the world to explore definitions of beauty in various cultures. "It's similar to missionary work. It was what I was called to do and called to be." On the series, Simpson visited a "fattening hut" in Uganda, munched fried cockroaches in Thailand, and walked a couture runway in Paris.
Despite the show's lackluster ratings and tepid reviews, the 29-year-old star said "it's changing my life, and that's what it's all about. We're all women, we are strong and there is always a life to change, and you are powerful enough to do it!"
The Gracies honored Simpson for her strength and entrepreneurial endeavors in the face of adversity and public scrutiny.
Earlier in her speech, Simpson quipped, "I'm not used to people talking so nice about me," and explained that she felt "called to the ministry" at church camp (dad Joe Simpson is a preacher) when she was 13.
"I remember calling my parents on a pay phone and said 'Dad? Mom? Guess what? I've been called into the ministry!'" she recounted to the crowd. "And they were like... 'Whoawhoawhoa, did you sign anything? Are you sure you wanna take this on?' And I was like 'Sure, really! I know right now at this very moment I can change the world. Somehow.'"

After annoucing her marriage to her co-star is over, she took to her Twitter page, telling fans: 'This is going to be the best summer of my life.'
She is swiftly making other living arrangements, and preparing to move in with Jennifer Bunney, who briefly appeared in the MTV series.
'Heidi and I are moving into a Malibu beach house this summer,' Bunney told RadarOnline.com. 'We’re really excited to do girly things and show people who we really are and that we’re really fun, sweet and loyal girls.'

Montag and Pratt's very public relationship has become increasingly bizarre in recent months, with Pratt admitting he had banned his wife from watching TV and using the internet.

Montag has also become estranged from her family and just weeks ago sought a restraining order against her mother, Darlene Egelhoff.

'Heidi is looking to move out due to all the fake bad press that Spencer controls,' a spokesperson for the star told TMZ yesterday.
'She's tired of it and is looking for a place and wants to focus on her acting career.'
The announcement shed light on 23-year-old Montag's earlier tweet, which read: 'I am not Heidi Pratt, I am Heidi Montag.'

Montag, a self-confessed plastic surgery addict who underwent 10 procedures in one day in November, has been trying to carve out a career as a Hollywood actress.
She is due to make a small appearance in Jennifer Aniston's upcoming film, Just Go With It, and earlier this week posted an online audition tape for Transformers 3 in the hope of catching the attention of director Michael Bay.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell reveals her bitter-sweet diet

Naomi revealed she drinks lemon juice, cayenne pepper and maple syrup in water to feel cleansed and in shape

Appearing on Oprah Winfrey's show recently, British beauty Naomi Campbell revealed she relies on a detox diet several times a year, saying 'it’s good to clean out your body once in a while'.

And it's the same system that Beyonce is said to have used to lose weight for her role in Dreamgirls.

At the centre of the diet is a drink containing lemon juice, cayenne pepper and maple syrup in water.

Make it with two tablespoons of freshly squeezed juice, a small pinch of pepper and two teaspoons of organic syrup in 3-500ml of filtered water.

However, many of the impressive results of the 'detox' come from followers not eating very much else besides, which we’re loathe to recommend – not least because any weight lost often goes quickly back on when normal eating is resumed.

The ingredients of the drink should help the digestive process and metabolism work more effectively: lemon juice helps you feel fuller for longer and stimulates insulin production to help balance blood sugar levels; cayenne pepper is said to have a 'thermal' effect which helps burn calories; and maple syrup contains fat-burning zinc and appetite-regulating magnesium.

So it may be a useful addition to your diet if you're cutting down but still eating healthily for long-term weight loss that will hopefully stay off.

Be aware, though, that lemon juice can cause acid erosion on your teeth, so use a straw and wait half an hour before brushing your teeth.

The announcement came contrary to the singer-actress' image as she is one of Hollywood's most notorious party girls and is rarely seen without a man on her arm.

Critics' final answer: `Slumdog' wins 5 awards

SANTA MONICA, Calif. – The critics have spoken, and "Slumdog Millionaire" is their final answer.

The rags-to-riches tale won a leading five prizes, including best picture, at Thursday night's Critics' Choice Awards. "Slumdog" also won honors for director Danny Boyle, writer Simon Beaufoy, star Dev Patel and composer A.R. Rahman.

"It's amazing to see how generous you've been to our film," said Boyle, who called the movie "a love song" to Mumbai.

"You're mad really," he continued backstage. "You're a bit like the Indians are mad about movies. When you find a movie you love, you go for it really."

"The Dark Knight" also won a pair of trophies: best action movie and best supporting actor for Heath Ledger. The crowd rose to its feet as the film's director, Christopher Nolan, accepted the award for Ledger.

"I can't presume to speak for him. His voice was as unique as it was original," said Nolan, adding that working with the actor "was one of the greatest experiences any of us ever had or will have."

"His contributions to cinema should be greatly appreciated," Nolan said, "so thanks for this appreciation."

Ledger died of an accidental drug overdose in January 2007.

Sean Penn was another double winner, earning best actor honors and sharing the acting-ensemble prize for "Milk."

A humble Penn said the real Harvey Milk would have been his first choice for the starring role.

"He had the charisma that an actor can only aspire to," Penn said.

Co-star Josh Brolin called Penn's turn as the groundbreaking gay politician "the most incredible performance ever."

Milk came into the contest with eight nominations. "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" also had eight nods, but didn't win a single award.

Kate Winslet was named best supporting actress for "The Reader," while Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep tied for best actress for "Rachel Getting Married" and "Doubt" respectively.

"Meryl is my idol," Hathaway said backstage. "To win with my idol who I was nominated against is amazing. I'm so thrilled for her and I'm very thrilled for myself, too."

Winslet and Streep weren't on hand to accept their awards, nor was Bruce Springsteen, who won best song for "The Wrestler," from the movie of the same name.

Director Darren Aronofsky accepted on the Boss' behalf.

"I don't know how you put words into the coolest man's mouth," he said, "so I'll just say thank you."

"WALL-E" was the best animated feature and "Tropic Thunder" was best comedy.

"There's a lot of awards out there, and this one, I think, has the most meaning," said writer, director and star Ben Stiller. "I'm not just saying that because this is the only award our movie was nominated for."

Richard Gere received a standing ovation as he accepted the Joel Siegel award, which recognizes an entertainer's humanitarian efforts. The 59-year-old actor is a longtime supporter of Tibet.

"Clearly I'm undeserving of this," Gere said, urging the audience to "channel all that energy to Tibet."

The 14th annual Critics' Choice Awards, presented by the Broadcast Film Critics Association at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, honored cinematic excellence in 17 categories. The group, which represents more than 200 TV, radio and online critics from the United States and Canada, founded the Critics' Choice Awards in 1995.

BERLIN – Thieves stole works by Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse and others from a Berlin gallery over the New Year's holiday, police said Friday.
More than 30 works — worth an estimated €180,000 ($250,000) — were stolen, apparently between Wednesday afternoon and lunchtime Thursday, police spokeswoman Claudia Schweiger said. The artwork was taking from the Fasanengalerie, a private gallery near western Berlin's central shopping district.
The etchings, prints and sculptures included "Profil au fond noir," a 1947 work by Picasso; "Nude in a rocking chair," a Matisse print from 1913; and "Le Boupeut," a 1962 color print by Georges Braque.
The gallery's owner discovered the loss New Year's Day, having found signs the door had been pried open, police said. Given the number of works stolen and the weight of the sculptures, two or more people probably were involved, police said in a statement.
