Susan Boyle was always going to be a hard act to follow, but this weekend 81-year-old Janey Cutler walked onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage and changed all that. Janey, who has seven children, 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren, wowed the judges and the audience with her rendition of Edith Pilaf’s No Regrets (Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien) – with Piers Morgan describing it as “spine-tingling and astonishing”. Needless to say, Janey flew through to the next round and now everyone wants a piece of her. She is set to appear on This Morning today, and the big US networks have also been in touch with ITV begging for footage and interview time. We can only assume this is why all the YouTube clips have been disabled *grumble*. We agree that Janey belted out her song with skill – but does she really have the same magic about her that Susan Boyle did? We’re not sure.
