“There was never a discussion about it (the divorce). It just came out of nowhere and blindsided Kris,” his dad William claims to Life & Style magazine, in a new exclusive interview. Now Kris Humphries will not budge. Although Kim Kardashian flew to Minnesota to meet with Kris and Pastor Joel Johnson, the minister who married them, Kris is reportedly refusing to cooperate with Kim’s devious divorce plan.

Hollywoodlife.com has already revealed that Kim’s trip was absolutely not an attempt to reconcile but to make sure Kris wasn’t “going to do something stupid, like talking to the press,” a source close to the situation told us, and now Life & Style reveals that Kris is trying to make the divorce as difficult as possible for the reality star!
“Kris told me that Kim was texting him a lot but he wouldn’t respond,” a close friend tells the magazine. “They did speak briefly the day the split was announced but only because she was apparently pissed that he released his own statement,” saying that he loved Kim and was committed to making the marriage work.
While Kris is at home with his family and friends, his father tells Life & Style that Kris isn’t taking the divorce well.
“He’s hurting but we’re here for him,” William says. “It’s not a nice situation. No matter how you look at it, he’s going through a divorce. There was never a discussion about it … how could someone do that? Kirs was completely surprised. The news was already published before he found out.”
Not only is Kris refusing to sign the divorce papers drawn up by Kim’s high-powered attorney Laura Wasser, but Kris is fighting with Kim over the wedding gifts.
“Kris is disgusted that Kim is making a donation to the Dream Foundation,” a friend of Kris’ says. “The gifts cost people a lot of money. They should be able to get their money back.” Read More
